Cycle with us through the back roads of Luang Prabang, a UNESCO World Heritage site. You will see parts of Luang Prabang only a few tourists will visit, whilst meeting some of the kindest, gentlest people in the world and enjoy their traditional way of life
Our half-day bike trip over flat easy trails will take you to the discover areas of the town's wetlands and river, ancient temples, small home industries, a high school and an orphanage. At the orphanage, you will visit their small gallery and the school's vegetable gardens, managed by the children. Before going back to the town, you will visit the Ock Pop Tock weaving centre where you and get a short explanation of the silk weaving process. Learn how silkworms make the silk, look at the natural dyes and meet the weavers.
You can expect to be back at your hotel around 1.30 pm.
