Today we cycle to Koh Dach (Silk Island), nestled in the mighty Mekong River. Pick up from your hotel is at 8am, and after 30 minutes we pass a small Buddhist monastery and arrive at a local ferry crossing to Koh Dach. On the island we get on our bikes to ride on quiet back roads. Many of the locals will shout their "Hello'' as it is not so often they see travellers. Enjoy the peaceful farmland and observe many families weaving traditional silk scarves and other garments. You will have a chance to stop and try weaving for yourself. A local lunch will be served in a natural beach area where we can swim in the river. After lunch we cycle back through the villages and past more friendly locals before returning to Phnom Penh.
