Mount Popa is definitely one of the special places to be visited. Situated in the surroundings of Bagan, it is the birth place of the 37 "nats" of Myanmar which are the protective spirits. We will steer you away from the usual trodden paths and visit the country side including a temple in the Minnanthu area, glimpse rural village life in Shwe See Htein village as well as the fruit and flower market and plantations near Popa. Lunch will be served at the Popa Mountain Resort. Return back to Bagan at the end of the day – in time to catch a beautiful sunset.
