NORTHEAST OF VIETNAM
Day 1 | Arrive Hanoi
Upon arrival, meet your guide and driver then transfer to hotel. The rest of the day is free to spend at your leisure. Overnight in Hanoi
Day 2 | Hanoi – Bac Can (B/L/D)
Departing from Hanoi, we embark on a route up into mountain areas north of Hanoi. Travel onwards to Bac Can where we will visit Ba Be National Park, one of the largest natural lakes in Vietnam, home to many kinds of birds, scenic valleys, towering rocky outcrops, underground river tributaries, a gigantic cave and also to local ethnic minorities, including the Tay, Red Dao and Hmong.The night is spent with a local family in the traditional house of a Tay family to experience their way of life
Day 3 | Bac Can – Cao Bang (B/L/D)
After breakfast, we will depart for Cao B?ng close to Vietnam’s northern border with China. You will be introd uced to the Nung people in the village of Phuoc Sen, a small village famous for the production of farming tools. Like the Tays, the Nungs largely live by farming the terraced rice paddies that you will see all around as you transfer to Ban Gioc Waterfall, the majestic falls that demarcate the border between Vietnam and China.
Day 4 | Cao Bang – Meo Vac (B/L/D)
After breakfast, we continue to climbs on 15 km up to the top of the Ma Pi Leng Pass, through a gigantic maze of lime peaks, “stone forests”, and canyons unique in the world. We then go down into the valley of Meo Vac where lies snugly in a smallish valley surrounded by rocky mountain. Overnight in Meo Vac.

Day 5 | Meo Vac – Ha Giang (B/L/D)
Leaving for Ha Giang where is located at the highest latitude in Vietnam . It is surrounded by Cao Bang, Tuyen Quang, Lao Cai, and Yen Bai. Many ethnic minorities, including the Dao, H’mong, Tay , and Nung, live in Ha Giang Province, this is where H'mong poeple consider as their capital. Overnight in Ha Giang.
Day 6 | Ha Giang - Sapa (B/L/D)
Start the enjoyable tour to Sapa at about 8.30 Am. After breakfast, we will hit the road down to Lao Cai town. We can take many breathtaking pictures from the height of around 1.500 m above sea level. After that, we keep riding down on the winding road No 70 to Sapa. On arrival, check in and take some rest before touring to Cat Cat village. That is the image of young women sitting by looms with colorful pieces of brocade decorated with designs of flowers and birds. When these pieces of brocade are finished, they are dyed and embroidered with beautiful designs. A noteworthy is that H’Mong women use plants and leaves to dye these brocade fabrics. And then they roll a round and smooth section of wood covered with wax on fabrics to polish them, making their colors durable. Overnight in Sapa.
Sapa is one of the small towns in the Northern mountainous region which features many marvelous natural scenery. Sapa has many naturals sites such as Bac Waterfall, Lao Chai, Ta van village, Ta Phin village – all of much interest to the many travellers who take the time to visit the area. Day 7 | Ta Van village (B/L/D)This day, you will visit Lao Chai and Ta Van village to see how the local ethnic people, H’mong and Days live. The simple and spontaneous life of those people give Lao Chai and Ta Van a peace beauty and attractive to tourist. Overnight in Sapa
Day 8 | Sapa- Ta Phin – Lao Cai (B/L) After breakfast and Lunch, we leave for Lao Cai station. On the way, you will visit Taphin village which is known for it’s fascinating natural scenery. Drive back to Hanoi. On arrival, check in hotel Day 9 |Hanoi DepartureFree until our driver will pick you up and transfer you to airport for your onward flight . End of services.
